Peanut - Wedell-Williams Model 45

Low wing Race plane from the 1930's. Was Jimmy Wedell's design incorporating cantilever wings and retract gear. This was the smooth-cowl version. Eligible for Peanut, Thompson Races and Bendix Races. The prototype did not live up to expectations; being a little unstable. BUT, it did pull out a kanone in the Bendix Races in the summer of 1998 at Cleveland. It flew on a 4.75" prop and 1/8" loop of rubber.
