Description
A very unusual subject for JetCat – the 1939 proposal from Lockheed – a twin-jet canard! Randy Wrisley designed this and sent me his plans to put this into production. I just had to build one and it works! It is very stable in all aspects of flight, with a low-angle (both) right power bank that flattens to a large left glide. It is very smooth and maybe a little draggy. Duration was regularly 20+ seconds with a tantalizing promise of being able to ride those thermals. Plus you get 5 FAC Bonus Points for flying a canard!
