das Ugly Stick Embryo Laser Cut Short Kit

Description

I had a customer ask if I had a rubber-powered Ugly Stick kit available.  At first, I was repulsed (rc?  ugh!), they I thought it might be fun to make such a thing.  So I did!  I designed this at Embryo size and I have added some things to “pay tribute” (ha!) to the ubiquitous sport plane.

1 – I designed a two-stroke look-alike motor to build up
2 – because you have the nerve to fly an rc design in Free Flight, I am NOT providing
a) the FAC Embryo Bonus for wheel pants – or –
b) the FAC Embryo Bonus for cabin/cockpit
c) there is no provision for any sort of DT
3 – I am providing over-sized 3D-printed wheel halves (glue them together)
4 – I am providing 3D-printed landing gear in the style of the dural gear

This kit builds fast and – uh oh – flies well!  My testing proved that this model is a tree magnet.  I had to rescue it 3 or 4 times while testing one afternoon.

This SHORT KIT contains a plan, two sheets of laser cut parts, a 3D-printed landing gear, and a pair of 3D-printed wheels.

My prototype used a 6.5″ prop with a loop of 1/8″ rubber.
